Wisconsin DHS announces new COVID-19 telehealth service
WISCONSIN (WKBT) — Greater access to COVID-19 treatment is coming our way.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) unveiled the free service on Wednesday.
Adults who are COVID-19-positive can have a telehealth consultation with DHS within 30 minutes of requesting one.
From there, patients may be prescribed an oral, antiviral pill.
The service will be available state-wide, accessible through the internet or telephone, and available in multiple languages.
You can get a consultation any day of the week between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
If you’d like to take advantage of this service, visit the DHS website.
