Wisconsin DHS: La Crosse County adds 59 COVID-19 cases Sunday

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – La Crosse County had 59 people test positive for COVID-19 Sunday according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. There were no new deaths Sunday after two people died due to the virus Saturday, bringing the county’s total to 30.

La Crosse County’s case total is now 6,285 with 37,236 total negative tests during the pandemic. La Crosse County is averaging 116.57 new cases over the past seven days, down from 123 last week according to Wisconsin DHS.

Sunday’s 59 new cases are still well below Friday’s total of 166. Wisconsin recorded 6,058 new cases Sunday and 12 new deaths.
