WisDOT offering three bridges for free

The bridges date back to the 1930s and 40s.

WISCONSIN (WKBT) – If you need a bridge, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has what you need for free.

The three, steel truss bridges are up for the taking.

There is a catch.

You must move bridges from their current location and be willing to preserve the structures’ historic integrity.

The bridges are over the Wisconsin River, in Richland, Sauk and Iowa Counties.

They date back to the 1930s and 40s.
