Xcel Energy serves employees breakfast to celebrate frontline workers
LA CROSSE (WKBT)–One company is supporting workers who don’t get enough appreciation.
This month Xcel Energy has been recognizing their dedicated front-line workers.
Xcel Energy employees got up bright and early to serve their workers a free and delicious breakfast.
They say that these employees don’t get enough appreciation for the work they do for the community.
“These guys work hard and probably don’t get the appreciation that they deserve,” said Community Service Manager Mike Herro. “Most of these workers are the ones that if it’s storming out, they’re the ones trying to fix the lines. Or if there’s a gas leak, they’re the ones trying to fix everything.”
Xcel Energy partnered with Kwik Trip to host these drive-thrus throughout Xcel’s service area.
